*If a unit is parachuted from an above normal height, the parachute animation may expire before it reaches the ground and it will then fall at this speed. | |||

This is used to control the speed (measured in cells per second) in which units without a parachute fall to the ground.
This effects units that are:
- Dropped by levitation weapons.
- Falling from destroyed bridges.
- Aircraft and jumpjets that have been shot down.
- If a unit is parachuted from an above normal height, the parachute animation may expire before it reaches the ground and it will then fall at this speed.
