Latest project created by [[Renegade]] in order to combine all fragments of knowledge about C&C Modding.

Basing on an idea of '''''ComradeJ the Great''''' at the [[DeeZire]] forums in 2003, and inspired by the open encyclopedia [http://www.wikipedia.org WikiPedia], Renegade decided to use [http://www.mediawiki.org the same script] to open up an unlimited modding-encyclopedia that could be expanded and improved by ''every single modder'' of the community, so that newbies could access all important information at one place, and important discoveries and their history wouldn't be lost.

The original domain, RenegadeProjects.com was purchased by Renegade for personal projects, and is also used to provide subdomains for [[CnC Renegade]] projects at [[Strategy X]].

ModEnc was founded by Renegade on Tuesday, 10.08.2004 at around 20:00 CEST, reachable via http://www.renegadeprojects.com.
